GUIDED TOUR

Curious about what goes on behind the scenes at the Schouwburg? Or would you rather take a look behind the scenes at Minnemeers? There are guided tours for all ages and interests. Upon request, we are happy to work out a tailor-made tour.

The tour is made accessible to everyone: it is wheelchair-accessible, there is guidance by a Flemish Sign Language interpreter, we use simple language, ...

Basic price: €100.

INTRODUCTIONS AND FOLLOW-UP DISCUSSION

For each new NTGent production, and for some guest performances, we provide an introduction. Our staff will tell you more about thematic background and creation process. For our own performances, we also aim to provide a digital introduction for those who cannot attend live. This introduction is free and registration is not necessary. An introduction starts 45' before the performance at the performance location. Rather at your location? That's possible too. The expenses are 70 euros + 21% VAT.

As a school or group, you can also get an exclusive introduction or follow-up talk on location. We start from your target group and their prior knowledge, and adjust our offer accordingly. The introduction or follow-up talk lasts about 50 minutes. The expenses are 70 euros + 21% VAT.

For every performance series of an NTGent production, we also organise one XL introduction and follow-up discussion, in the presence of the dramaturge and/or cast. These are announced via our communication channels. Would you like an XL introduction or follow-up discussion tailored to your group/school at the venue? That is certainly possible and free of charge! Prefer to have it at your location? No problem! The expenses are 70 euros + 21% VAT.

OPEN REHEARSALS

In the run-up to a new production, the director and production team open their doors to small groups of audience members. Open rehearsals are free of charge and are announced via a personal e-mail, or via our website or newsletter. Want to stay informed? Sign up via publiekswerking@ntgent.be.

THEATRE WALK

During this walk of about two kilometres you will cross Ghent city centre. We will stop at places that have been important for Dutch-language theatre. There is a theatre walk dedicated to Jan-Frans Willems and one to Maurice Maeterlinck.

- Approximately 120 minutes
- Maximum 25 participants
- €100 + 21% VAT

THEATRE LIBRARY

Our theatre library in the NTGent Schouwburg is full of hidden treasures. You will find all information and visual material of NTGent performances from 1965 until now. You can also come to us for background information and works on the history of theatre, or biographies.

The library is open to the public on Wednesday afternoons from 2 to 5 pm or by appointment via steve.piens@ntgent.be

TAILOR-MADE ARRANGEMENTS

NTGent is an open house for everyone! If you have a specific question or experience barriers on a practical or content-related level, we will try to adapt our offer to suit you.

We also offers extras with performances. A snack or drink before or after the performance, an exclusive talk afterwards, a short meet & greet.... We'd love to see what's possible with you!

With closed eyes, you can see whomever you’d like There's all that future, still Only humans can fantasise Until it holds from the inside Beyond madness, tenderness awaits
